8 Floral Cocktails Just in Time for Spring

Spring is in the air… so why not put it in your cup? Floral cocktails are the perfect accompaniment to a beautiful spring day. Light, aromatic, and absolutely gorgeous in an unbreakable glass, there's no limit to what you can do with floral cocktail flavors.

Aviation: Creme de violette is the star of this floral favorite. Just look at it: pretty pastel purple with a delicate aroma? What more could you ask for while looking out over a field of violets?

Hibiscus Champagne Cocktail: Champagne? Good. Champagne with hibiscus syrup? So much better. We love this bubbly cocktail for its flavor and aroma, as well as its dramatic deep red color.

Edible Flower Lemon Jello Shots: Think floral cocktails are all delicate pastel liquids in tastefully garnished glasses? Think again. It's time for some jello shots. These shots are bright, citrusey, and fun, but they're also absolutely gorgeous to look at. Flower petals suspended in a light yellow jello is the perfect balance of spring sophistication and party fun.

Everything's Coming Up Rose: This cocktail requires a few more ingredients than many of the others on this list, but we're of the opinion that it's worth it. Hibiscus tea forms the floral base for this rose cocktail, while a good dose of Aperol adds color and citrusy flavor. A must-try!

Chamomile Gin Fizz: This floral cocktail is a tale of two sensations: bright and bubbly meets rich and creamy. Add in a handful of chamomile flowers and you have a drink that perfectly encapsulates the contradictions of spring. Oh, and it tastes amazing too.

Lavender Bee's Knees: You've got to love a prohibition era cocktail. Break out that flapper dress and go pick some lavender: you're about to enjoy a drink that's equal parts floral and fun. In fact, you could even say it's the Bee's Knees.

Elderflower Champagne Mimosa: Springtime brunch, meet elderflower champagne mimosa. It's a lovely combination of bubbly champagne and elderflower tonic, all garnished with citrus and pomegranate seeds. The result is as visually impressive as it is delicious: perfect for your next garden party.

Zesty Mint Virgin Cocktail: Not drinking? No worries. You'll have plenty of opportunity to enjoy floral flavors with this alcohol-free cocktail. Fresh mint and elderflower syrup create a complex and refreshing way to explore springtime flavors. Enjoy!
